Engineered Wood (Melamine board/MDF/ Veneered Tops):

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight at all times.
  • Avoid using sharp and pointed objects on the surface.
  • Any spillages to be wiped with dry cloth immediately.
  • Never apply the cleaning agent or water directly engineered wood surface. Instead, apply the cleaning agent only to the cleaning cloth and then wipe over the surface.
  • Use clean, soft and dry cloth to remove dust.
  • Use your furniture indoors and in a dry environment. Exposing it to water, moisture-prone areas and varying humidity levels might cause the board to warp or bend
  • Keep the furniture in well-ventilated place. A place without ventilation and high humidity can lead to material deterioration and can lead to fungus growth.
  • Do not drag the furniture in assembled condition and with load on it. Dragging the furniture with load on it will lead to weakening of joints.
  • In case of stain, please use a stain remover on a piece of cloth and then try it on a small area. Once you see good results you may then proceed with rest of the area using the cloth.

Solid wood (Seesham/ Rubber wood /Teak etc,.):

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight at all times. With extended exposure, sunrays can create hairline cracks in the finish or cause fading, yellowing, or darkening.
  • Avoid using sharp and pointed objects on the surface.
  • Any spillages to be wiped with dry cloth immediately.
  • Avoid exposing your furniture to direct airflow from air conditioners.
  • Dust regularly using a soft, clean cloth. Use a dry (preferably cotton) cloth, if necessary, to remove any moisture from the surface.
  • You may also use slightly dampened cloth with water and mild soap solution and wipe in the direction of the grain and make sure to dry those components completely. Never wipe across grain as it can create rub marks and removing them sometimes can be very difficult.
  • Do not use acidic or abrasive cleaning agents.
  • Avoid placing hot objects/utensils on the wood surface directly, use mats or coasters as protective layers. This way the surface and the wood will last long.

Upholstered items: (Sofa, cushions, seats made from Fabric/Leatherette etc.)

  • Once you begin using an upholstered item, you can expect its appearance to change over time. These changes are considered as normal wear.

Use a upholstery cleaning shampoo on the piece of clean cloth, try on small area in a circular motion and then proceed with the rest of area when the results are encouraging.

Recliners: (Manual and Electric)

  • Recliner sofas without handles (Manual), please put gentle pressure on the arms and shifting of the body weight as this enable operating of sofa.
  • For Manual recliners more pressure may be required when the mechanism is new. Operation will become easier as the mechanism works through its break-in period.
  • For electric recliners, keep openings clear, and keep hands away from openings. Avoid dropping objects into openings.
  • Keep liquids away from all electric parts.
